Cooper and I went for my weekly checkup on Monday. Everything was looking good. Half a centimeter and forty percent. All I prayed for was at least a half a centimeter dilation... that is what I got. I know it's not much but at least it's some change and I know the end really is in sight. Could be wishful thinking, but I really feel he will be here a week early. Cooper just laughs when I say that.... only because I have been saying it for two months now. We will go back Monday, and if I have hit 1-2 centimeters we get to pick a day to induce! Picking a date would be fine with me; that way my family could plan ahead and Cooper wouldn't have to miss work and reschedule all his patients.
We are still trying to decide on a name. Cooper told me he wanted to name the baby this week. He doesn't want to have to worry about me screaming at him about it when I go into labor. Completely understandable. We really wanna name him something different. Of course, we are still considering our "C" names; they just sound good with Callaway. We are pretty sure we want to use Joseph as his first name. Coopers grandfather's name was Joseph and my grandfathers name is Joe. I'm very close to my Pop, and it would just mean a lot to both of us to use that name. Here is what all we are considering: The "C" names, Kale, Taft, Noah. Those are all on both our lists. I like Ridge and Ledge, Cooper isn't too crazy about those two. Who knows, maybe this child will have a name when he gets here.... maybe he won't! Hopefully it will hit us sooner or later!

I like Kale, sort of an homage to your delta roots....
Half a cm and 40% is a great start. Definite progress!! It was great to see you at the game. Laura
I am LOVING Cohen... with Camp running a VERY close 2nd! :) Be prepared... I was due December 14 and when I went in for my check up 2 weeks before I was pretty much in labor and didn't even know it!! Didn't even get to go home and get anything together... and I was the doofus that ignored all the articles and advice that said have your bags packed!! Hang in there. The last few weeks are the absolute worst! It'll be here before you know and then the next thing you know you'll be celebrating his 1st birthday!! I'll be praying for ya'll! Can't wait to see what you decide to name him! :)
