Campbell's Birthday Party

We had Campbell's birthday Wednesday, the 23rd. We just had a small party for him with family. This is a hectic time of year to try and plan a birthday. Here are a few pics.

Happy to be with Mom. Please excuse the double chin.

He loves his Daddy these days!

We ran around a little bit outside...

Ate a little bit of Granny's hushpuppies and Pop's catfish... Good Stuff!

Opened a few presents...

Enjoyed too much blue birthday cake icing!

So much so, that Mom had to give me a bath!

Campbell and his Cake

Here are a couple of videos from Campbell's Birthday. I haven't uploaded the pictures yet. When I do, I'll post a few of those. For now, enjoy these videos.

Three Years Ago Today...

Three years ago today, Cooper walked into the salon I was working in to get a hair cut. I was a nervous wreck. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was a Friday and he called to make an appointment for the following Monday. When I hung up the phone my face was beet red. Great, I thought. I had all weekend to think about this. You see, I knew who Cooper was, but he was the only person I had never been able to speak to. I had seen him on many occasions, he would speak, I would stutter and keep walking. Meanwhile, he called to change his appointment to that Friday, instead of Monday. I missed that phone call and no one gave me a warning. When he walked in the door, I felt like I used to feel before I was about to run the mile relay. He sat down in my chair and tried making conversation. It's all a blur... EXCEPT... when I tripped over his feet, fell into his lap and almost stabbed in the leg with my scissors! Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, right? He tried blaming in on his boots, they were big and bulky. I, however, know the truth. I was so dang nervous. I don't remember how his hair looked when he walked out, but it must have been decent. Three years later.. I'm still cutting it!
