Dr.'s Appointment

I went to the doctor yesterday and everything was great. I agreed with her except the fact that I had gained nine pounds! She said it was fine because this was the greatest amount that I had gained so far and up until now I haven't gained much at all. We listened to his heartbeat and measured my tummy. Dr. Turner said he had doubled in size since the last time I was there and he probably weighs right at three pounds now. I will start going to the doctor every other week now up until about 35-36 weeks, then I'll go every week. Cooper was glad to hear that once we got closer to the due date that she would let us just pick a date (that fit Coopers schedule) to deliver Baby Callaway. Mind you, Cooper has already given me the dates in which he has taken off work and I can deliver. He just doesn't realize it doesn't work that way. I'm actually kinda anxious to see if Baby Callaway is going to cooperate with his daddy requests! So, all in all everything is great here.

Cooper is doing well also. His excitement grows everyday. He is currently getting things together for his second annual bow tournament which is going to be held this Saturday. I really wish I would have been practicing so I could participate. Maybe next year. Hope all is well with everyone. God Bless!

First Baby Shower

I had my first baby shower Sunday. We had a great time and received some great gifts. My friends Betsy, Mary Margaret, Amanda, Keith and Brady were the hostess. It was so great to see everyone.

Baby Callaway's future girlfriend, Jane Kimmel Buford,  was in attendance as well. She may be a few months older, but age is just a number.

Cooper Is Home!

CCooper made it back safe and sound! Thank Goodness! Pop has requested a elk filet when he comes through in November. I sure hope Cooper knows a place around town that serves elk, because he didn't bring any home. They didn't kill anything but they had a good time. That particular week in September is his favorite time of year! Glad he is home now though!

IT HAS BEEN AWHILE

I had a nice week long visit in the Delta. Needless to say there wasn't much to do. I read a few books and hung out with mom. Which is always great! Baby Callaway is doing great, he has become very active. Right before I go to bed and as soon as I wake up in the mornings is when he is the most active. We may have a future kickboxer on our hands! Cooper will be returning home today, and I can't wait. Baby has gotten so much bigger just in the past week, Cooper is going to be shocked! I hope all is well with everyone!

Cooper is packing up and heading out west. He and his friend Billy will "rough it" hunting for about a week. This is their annual elk hunt they go on every year. They call it a poor mans hunt, because they will sleep in tents and like I said really rough it. He is so excited and he really needs this break. As for me I'm going to the delta for a few days to stay with the parents. I'm not real sure what I'm going to do there, because there isn't much to get in to. But I'm sure i'll find something. Hope all is well with everyone.

Baby Callaways Latest Picture

This is the latest sonogram picture of Baby Callaway. He is doing great and he is very active. You can kinda tell he has his mouth open. When we were trying to get pictures of him he was sticking his tongue out at us. He may already be a little jokester like his daddy. Cooper can't wait to teach him all his tricks of aggravating me.
