"A Picture is...

... worth a thousand words... but which thousand?"

This is a picture that I will forever cherish.. It's of my grandmother and Swayze holding hands.. I had planned to do a little photoshoot with the two of them, but didn't get around to it. I snapped this one picture as the two of them were gazing at each other..

She Smiles...

I have never seen a baby that smiles as much as Swayze. She smiles with her big blue eyes.

She smiles at everything:
Just saying hello.. she smiles
Can't take a bottle if you are looking at her because... she smiles
When Campbell is in her sight... she smiles
Sleeping... she smiles
Taking pictures.. she smiles.
Her Daddy singing.. she smiles
While using the bulb syringe.. drum roll please.. she smiles!

A couple of Pics...

"Ball"

Attempting to be sweet.. Swayze loves her big brother.

Sweetness..

He doesn't quite understand he can't pick her up yet...

Fingerprint Friday...

I came across this link as I was browsing facebook today. I decided to participate and see if I could get others that read my blog (all 3 of you) to participate as well... What a neat way to show a little glimpse of what God has fingerprinted and what an awesome way to think about EVERYTHING HE has created. From now on, I'm going to try and do this every Friday!

God had his fingerprints on these two long before I even knew they existed. It gives me chills just thinking about it.

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:
I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Where do you see them? To find out how to join "Fingerprint Friday" and see links to other posts, visit Beki at The Rusted Chain.

Hello Delta..

The kids and I headed to the delta again for a friend's wedding. It was such a beautiful ceremony. Short and OH. SO. SWEET. I have never seen a couple so smitten with each other during their ceremony. They just couldn't keep their eyes off of each other.

The weekend was very eventful. Starting Thursday when we left the house. I accidently left Swayze at the house. I know I know.. Go ahead and give me the mother of the year award. I'll proudly display it on my mantle (along with my skeet shooting trophy).. In my defense, I was so frazzled as I was trying to get out the door. I have to do everything between feedings, therefore I was trying to get out the door as soon as I finished feeding at 3 and in the delta as close to 6 as I could. Campbell wasn't dressed and was running around acting like a wild child. So, when I finally got him in the car, I just jumped in and left the house. God was watching over me though... I stopped at Cooper's parents to load Campbell's tractor. Beth asked Campbell "where's Swayze?" I realized she was sitting in her carseat right where I left her. I spun gravel out of the driveway to go get her. She just smiled when I walked in the door.. like she is below.
Saturday night I locked my keys in the car.. along with Campbell's blanket. He is very partial to that one blanket. We tried giving him every blanket in the house. Nothing worked. A tow truck from Vicksburg had to come unlock my car. Two hundred dollars later, we were on the road back to Crawford.
Never thought I would say it, but I miss the delta during this time of year. I love seeing all the fields of white cotton. We don't have much of that around here. I attempted to get some pictures of Campbell in the cotton, he wasn't very cooperative. We also went and rode the tractor with Pappy-he has since had a haircut and no longer resembles Jimmy Buffet.
