Tummy Shot

I have had a couple of people request a tummy shot. This one is not that great.... probably because I attempted to take it myself. At least you can get the idea. I'll try and get Cooper to take a better one soon!

Baby Callaway Has the Hiccups!

I had another check up today. While we were trying to listen to his heartbeat, Baby Callaway started hiccupping. I got so tickled! He gets the hiccups pretty regularly now. I can tell because there is a consistant amount of time between each little kick. I hope it's not s sign that he is going to have reflux or be a colicky baby. Everything looked great. Only gained two pounds this time! I have one more two week visit and then I'll start going every week. Time flys. Only 7 more weeks. Well 6 weeks and 6 days to be exact. We can't wait.
I think Cooper is already ready for a little girl. Jane Kimmel has been coming over to visit some lately and she has Cooper wrapped around her little finger!

One Year Ago

One year ago this  weekend, Hope, Laura and I ran  the Women's Nike half marathon in San Francisco CA.  It was a great experience and I can't wait until Baby Callaway gets here so I can start running again. I don't think I have ever been so ready to run!

I'll never forget the crowds of people cheering for us while we were running. It was the most amazing experience and it was all for a great cause.
As Jerimiah said, who would have thought that within one year of this race we would have two babies and one marriage! Laura has a precious little boy named Henry and Baby Callaway will be here in 8 weeks! Lots of things can happen in one year.

Coopers Sister Liz came down from New York for a visit. It was great getting to see her, and we can't wait until Thanksgiving; she gets to come back home for a little while.

Oh The Perks of Living in the Country

After a long night of no sleep due to Bogey barking, Cooper and I awoke to a horrible smell. We knew exactly what it was. A SKUNK! Apparently they enjoy visiting our house. About three weeks ago we had one that came up to the house and sprayed Dixie. Well, Saturday morning we went outside to get things together so we could leave and we didn't see anything. Cooper was busy changing the tire on his truck when I noticed something moving under the ranger. Yep, it was another skunk! Cooper shot it but not before he shot out the tire on the ranger!  This is a picture of Coop putting the skunk in a trash bag. I wish I would have had the video camera out to record the whole thing. I just happened to get my camera in time to get this one picture. It was pretty funny! Coopers face was priceless!

Cooper and I went to Woodland Furniture yesterday to get some things for Baby Callaway's room. That place is almost overwhelming. This is not his room but it is a sample of what his bedding looks like. The walls won't be green and the crib isn't white. However, his walls will be khaki and I also got a green glider that I'm overly excited about. We walked around all the buildings for a couple hours looking at furniture and bedding. We chose the crib and the chest and then then the glider. I had settled on a different bedding just because I was getting very impatient and wanted to get everything RIGHT THEN. Well, when we walked back in the warehouse with all the baby things, I saw this bedding. I had been looking at it online and the owners had just put the bedding on the floor that morning. "Thats it" i yelled at Cooper. He started laughing. Finally, I had the bedding I wanted and couldn't wait to get started on "LC's" room.

We should have waited for Pop and Granny to come through and taken them with us. Pop knows everybody and he would have done a good job talking to Uncle Henry. We walked away with all the furniture we needed... for now anyway.
